Message:   This past year had been very hard for me but now I believe I can go forward.
We have had a very bad drought here, the worst in 33 years. In July and August it has been in the mid 90's with little or no rain. We had two weeks here that the temperature was in the three digits and even with the fans on in the stalls the horses stood and sweat out.
Farmers got only one cutting of of their fields and hay here is very hard to find. I just purchased 300 bales of Alfalfa but need to locate more to get through the winter, I took all that the man had. Regular grass hay is up to $7.50 per small bale and Alfalfa is $300.00 a ton. ( OUCH!!!!!!! )
All the girls are doing fine as you can see by the photos. As soon as I can get the rest of the witches braids out of Ne-Ga-Ho's mane I will take some photos of him. In this last year he has really matured out, muscle tone and beautiful arched neck. When the weather cools ( I can breath better in cool weather ) I am going to start working him once again under harness.
Shawn, the baby now a year old will have to wait for photos of him. All of a sudden he is going through the gangly stage and I have to wait till all of his parts come back together. Very pretty though with his color and has a very sweet temperament so will be easy to work with.

And Bunny, not a good photo but they were more interested in eating than looking at me
