Message:   It is a MESS since the slaughterhouses shut down. More horses are being thrown into the streets or dumped off at the auctions. Many of us here are not wanting to breed our stallions due too many unwanted horses.
I do wish the slaughterhouses remained open, it more humane for a horse to go to slaughter than die a slow torture death, not only that hay and boarding prices are going up even Farriers are starting to charge $40.00 just for a trimming. Not the Farriers fault, its gas, tool, horseshoes prices that is going up and not only that libabity insurace, truck maintance.. same with horse trainers rasing their prices up. More people are leading to keep one horse.
