Message:   Hello!
Sorry for not posting much on the ASHA board, am just so busy with client's horses that it is crazy and endless waiting list. 5 horses a mth. Am GLAD I have one horse now! You wonder why some Professional Horse Trainer have one or no horse of their own, we are too busy with putting our client's horses 1st. Gosh, makes me look back when I had 10, mostly the foals were handled, ponied and to respect humans, while my green broke Sulphurs werent finished, even Sovina is only half way finished.
Rode Sovina the other day after not being ridden for 4 mths, he was full of it, so after about 15 mins of warming him up on the lunge line, he did great! He feels solid! Next week Sovina and I are going Mt trekking with a client and her Arabian stallion near Mt. Hood in the snow. Should be fun!
The stable where I have my client's horses at has a killer view of Mt Hood as its only 30 miles away. It is nice to just come there and train not have to worry about stall cleaning or feeding..got to love full care!
Hay sure went up, straight alfalfa is almost $300 a ton!
Got this rare find Oats/Alfalfa mix (30% alfalfa)for Sovina, he just loves it! Lots of oat grain in the oat hay that I dont have to feed him grain. It is so weird having one horse, a first ever for me growing up around horses all my life, even my own mother is at disbelief that I have one horse.
