Message:		Some mares are very protective of their foals amd maiden mare are some times worst. You'll know when you go to enter the stall how she will be. I have never let people in the stalls to see the foals. They can stand at the railing and the foal will come to them out of curiosity. As for washing their shoes, if the mare is UTD on her shots then the foal will get its immunities from her.
