And to clarify, when I say "dun" I am not talking about a color, I am talking about the striping and dorsal, bicoloration, etc.
When Erin says "dun" she means "zebra dun" which is a bay horse with dun factor, to me a "bay based dun."
Due to the interest in the dun gene, the common usage of the word "dun" can mean either a zebra dun or a bay based dun, indicating color, or a horse with the dun factor present. The latter is how I always use it.
