Dear Pete, as you said, you did step into a war, which started several years ago. I won't try to explain or point fingers or blame either side or name names. But let me explain why you were treated like you were when you asked, your "Question?" on the ASHA mb. People from the SHR have come to our mb PRETENDING to be a newbie, like you. We thought you were just another "pretender? I apologize for my treatment of you. Your post looked suspicious. I guess it will take us a little more time to trust again, but we have been tricked time and time again.
I would like to think that you are really interested and that you have a interest in the Sulphurs, if so, why not take Sherryl’s invitation she posted on the mb and go to NC to meet her and her horses. With any luck at all, our ASHA president will be there too! Not everyone gets invited to cookies and coffee with the President & Vice President of ASHA.
I was a member of SHR for three years, I wanted to get my Sulphur stallion, Sulphur Prince into as many registries as I could, like another notch on his gun. (No pun intended), I joined for Prince, so he could have an impressive résumé when someone came for breeding services. When Sheri Wysong, found out about my membership in ASHA, she went ballistic and made a BIG deal about it on the SHR message board. Like, Kim, I tried to defend myself against Sheri, but with her constant haranguing and criticism, I finally gave up trying.
