Hello,
I just wanted to pop in, say hello and no I am not a bad guy. Just one that is interested in the Sulphur breed and enjoying reading the boards. I have read the boards for quite some time but never really had too much to say, as of yet I do not own a Sulphur. I have a few little mares that are of mixed blood, not quite sure what they are but they are part of my wife's and my extended family. We do not show, just the family rides together that we enjoy so much. Since our children are grown and have children of their own it now gives us the chance to go on to other horse related interests.
I had to jump in here as I had not read the board for a few weeks and coming in it reminded me of my favorite movies of Clint Eastwood. Reading some of the posts I could hear the background music from one of my favorites, The Good, The Bad and the Ugly or was it Two Mules for Sister Sarah. Anyway, it gave me quite a chuckle over some that just don’t quite get it.
My wife is the one that has been interested in the Spanish breeds, has read up on all and the Sulphur has caught her interest. We realize that this is not a color breed but the Duns and Grullas are outstanding, hopefully someone will have a nice filly or colt for sale next Spring.
I appreciate what you are doing for the Sulphurs, felt it was time someone told you that.
My mail address is not in this post, I am a little leery of others but if anyone wants to talk to me or my wife post back and one of us will get with you.
Keep your feet to the ground and enjoy your horses.
Bless you all for what you are doing,
Harold D. |
