Well, I am also such as Harold, I read all of the boards but not new to the Sulphurs, I adopted two at the last adoption. On this board I see people trying to make a statement on what they are trying to do, explanations that no one seemed to understand and not a unkind word said to anyone that posted. Pete asked a question that he did not understand the explanation , or was just the type to dig till he got what he wanted. It was a question that I guess some would have a question about, but not to be brought up in such a manner as it was written. It is a shame that a personal email had to be passed such as children in a classroom. It is my conclusion from what I have read that the person who mailed Pete is that photos are sometimes easier to understand than words.
I can see by the antics, the fun they are having with this on another site and it takes me away from wanting to be associated with these type of people. I read what was on the Sulphur Horse Ranch page, this person is stating what she is doing in her breeding program, what she believes in and what she is striving for. The statement she had on there people was the truth, it was written out as such, I read it myself.
What I cannot understand is the little digs that seem to bring so much pleasure to some, the scrolling text by a grown person is questionable. I am a College student, working my way through and know the difference between those that are sincere and those that live to bash another.
My membership application is in the mail to the ASHA. I will submit my photos and request that I be included in the Inspection next year and yes I will have to travel to do so. I will DNA my horses when the time comes and parentage test my foals.
To the ASHA I say take this all in stride, those that are mature will see that you are doing what you feel is best for the horses.
Since I know that my post will be read, if there are some that would like to bash me for my right to register where I please or my statements made, email me personally. On this board I wish no confrontation, that is the reasoning for not posting elsewhere as it is not a very pleasant place to be. Yes Wiley, the grass is greener on this side of the fence.
