Message:   if he still has some consering scaring in his mouth then i would suggest a myler bit, they are considerably thinner than most bits, extemely smooth and have independent movement. to my knowledge they do make driving bits, and one of our clients at Van Sweden Equine training had a custom liverpool bit made by them for her fresian gelding. here is their wedbsite http://www.mylerbitsusa.com/index.htm
i have several of their bits, they arnt for every horse but i found they do wonders for horses that come to me with problems, and need to be reschooled without having to go to a strong bit. i would check them out.
