We had a great time at NW Trek!
We had a great time at NW Trek yesterday. There were 5 cars of us, the weather was sunny, (yes, cold) and the animals were out and moving around. The otters were putting on quite a water show. The beavers had just had a new load of saplings delivered, and they were checking them over. The badger was out, the wolverine was out, the skunks, bears, foxes, coyotes, cougar, wolves....all out and moving around. The owls were sleeping. Only one moose has survived now (down from 4 our last visit), but we didn't see him. On the tram ride we saw lots of deer, elk, mountain sheep and goats, geese, a sand crane, and BISON! Special thanks to LeAnn and Russ for introducing us to Triple Cheese Kettle Chips, and Darla for bringing the hand warmers...which did work, finally. Three cars pulled into the side road just outside the park as we were leaving to photo our cars with magnificent Mt. Rainier in the background. Look for photos soon.

We are so sorry to have missed this cruise! I am recovering from my sinus infection - have been home from work all week.  Am really glad everyone had a great time! If you want to replace the photos you have on our Gallery page with those you took in front of Mt.Rainier email them to me and I'll do that.
