Renewal of LeMay Car Club Membership Proposal
We have asked Pat and John to add an item to discuss the renewal of the Puget Sound Cruisers Annual Iron Car Club Membership at our May 13 club meeting. This is up for renewal at the end of June. The cost is $100.00. We wish to propose that our club renews our LeMay membership and this time the $100.00 fee comes from club funds rather than individual members' donations. This could then be voted on at our June 10 meeting. Renewing the membership will enable our club to have on-site parking at the LeMay Annual Car Show on Aug. 25 to promote our club and the PT Cruiser with the public as well as the other opportunities we have enjoyed over the last year. We would be willing to lead a mini cruise to this amazing event again if club members are interested. We believe that Club Members will have had sufficient opportunities to see the benefits of membership of the LeMay Museum by the June 10 meeting (including the reduced price June 2 guided tour: click on flyer in the "Events" Page of this website for details) to make an informed decision. We would also welcome the introduction of a 50/50 draw at each meeting to bring in extra funds to the club as is done successfully by Mt. Rainier Cruisers so that Puget Sound Cruisers can better afford to participate in such activities. We welcome you comments! Chris and Val (and PT Morris)

Agree. We need to consider new ways of raising money.

How about a PT Cruiser carwash. We could wash PT's only for a donation and use it as a membership tool. |

Great idea on both counts! Since I work on Sunday's I won't be there to vote, but I say yes. When I am able to attend meetings I will have my 50/50 $$$$ ready. Keep Cruisin' all, jan

A vote to renew the LeMay Museum membership was proposed last (May) meeting and we will vote on it at the June meeting. Also the members voted to have a 50/50 raffle at our meetings. Sharon Dillon volunteered to coordinate it and is busy making a 50/50 ticket box. Can hardly wait to see it - Sharon always adds her artistic touch to everything she does!
