Recap of NW Trek trip
Hi everyone. We had a wonderful trip to NW Trek....no snow and no high winds! There were 4 cars in all. We got there early so took the tram first and ate lunch afterwards. From the tram we saw mountain goats and sheep, deer, bison, moose, and caribou. Nobody but Deane and I went to see the animals in the nature area, so I sent Pat some photos of the animals you all missed....the beaver was SO cute! So were the river otters. The wolverines were fighting and I didn't get a photo, but I did get photos of a black bear, a grizzly bear sitting in his pond eating the ice, a pack of wolves playing, the beaver, lynx, and that sitting moose (which stood up and ambled off just as I got my camera to flash). Hopefully Pat will be able to post the photos. Next time you all go, do be sure to take in the other animal exhibits! Thanks for going this time and making this a wonderful cruise. Jan
