NAIT MEN'S BASKETBALL SPRING LEAGUE
NAIT MEN’S BASKETBALL SPRING LEAGUE This league is designed to provide COMPETITIVE basketball for past, present and future college and university players including graduating grade 12’s in and around the Edmonton area. The league will run on Wednesday evenings starting on May 10, 2006 at 6:00pm and ending with a league championship on June 28, 2006. There will be no coaches, however, each team will have a captain that is responsible for communicating between the league administrators and the players. Each game will be officiated by volunteers through the NAIT administration and inappropriate conduct towards referees will not be tolerated. Entry fee is $60 (cash, cheque or money order) and there is no guarantee of gaining acceptance into the league since SPACE IS LIMITED. Only the cheques of those accepted will be cashed and others will be returned. Make cheques payable to CHUMA NWOBOSI. We require a minimum number of registrations in order for the league to run. Teams will be selected by an entry draft conducted by pre-selected team captains and no team or partner registrations will be accepted. the league is going well. Lots of good players very competiative some upsets already those who haven't sighned up next yr comes again soon. |

I agree. Some GREAT games tonight!! 3 close games with the biggest victory by 4 points. In game 2, Former Lakeland/current UofA standout Jeff Lander hit a clutch 3-pointer at the buzzer in overtime to seal the win. In game 3, an exciting overtime period resulted in another tie which is how the game ended. Make sure to keep an eye out for the deadline for entries next year so you don't miss out on the action. another great evening of hoops. Damerys squad won another game by only 2 they are squeking by there style is quite run and gun fun team to watch. Ossies team won with no problem. There team seems to start shinning at the right time. With valpreda,landers, lehman trio they should be the team to beat. Nice pickings ossie. |

The link is actually www.naitooks.com but thanks for spreading the word. There are some great college and university players in the league along with some solid high school talent. It is a good mix. |

Good games last nite a little of a blow out in one, but getting closer to playoffs. Everyone playing well and peaking at the right time. Quality ball out there. |
