Chase Dream

I had a very interesting dream a few weeks ago. I was on the road in front of my father's house, (parents divorced) and I walked towards the driveway, slowly. I get there, and it's suddenly a different place, like an open concrete building with white sheets hanging randomly inside. It was almost like a deserted place, without a roof or doors. Then, I see the sheets move. I start running away in fear. I run down the driveway, and onto the road. Then I see a man come from the building. he was in a white mask. Even though we're a long way away, he throws an ax/hatchet at me, but I dodge it barely. I almost move in slow motion because I feel weak and scared. Then, he throws another. I dodge it again. He started running at me, so I got on a little kid's bike in the road. I start riding it, but he starts to catch up. Then, I start to move my arms in like a circular motion to make myself go faster. I stop pedaling and just move my arms like I'm swimming to get away from him. He gets closer and closer, but then I wake up. ?

Re: Chase Dream

Morgan,
These feelings in your dreams are most likely the result of the changes {suddenly a different place} in your life because of your parents divorce. You may feel isolated or even abandoned {a deserted place, without a roof or doors} by one or both parents and by the changes. And perhaps more so toward your dad {the man throwing hatchets}. Does he a long way, some distance from you now? You may be running away from him because of the divorce. These are common dream experiences for someone who is undergoing a divorce {you are experiencing the divorce also}.
