Medical stitching
i had to remove stitches from a little girls forearm, which ran from her wrist to the elbow joint. i put on sterile gloves but they were too big for my hands. so, removing the stitches was difficult as well as replacing them. i acknowleged in the dream that i didn't know how to do this, but was required to do this anyway.

Unless you are a physican is your waking life, I would think the dream is addressing some under-developed feminine aspect that needs stitching {mending}. Arms ofetn symbolize ability with wrists and elbows being flexible. Gloves that don't fit may suggest you are trying to use something that doesn't fit your ability. There is healing required before you have the ability to fit in and you don't know how to go about doing this.
Feminine aspects, your animus are feminine aspects within a man {we all have feminine qualities}. If you tend to be too aggressive in your personality, uncaring or little compassion toward others, too demanding or self centered, then your feminine qualities are not developed. Perhaps your conscious is bothering you and you do not know how to incorporate these feminine aspects into your waking life. Balance requires the use of the animus if you are to live a happy and harmoneous life. If not then your stress level could get the better of you, or worse off you could become another George W. Bush and evolve into a narcisist being.
