Walking through a village

I dream i was walking through a village by the beach. Its a small dingy village with small streets and small houses very close together in no order. It was not a place i was familiar with at all. Although it was by the beach it seemed to be cold because i was wearing a denim jacket, zipped up, with a fur collar and my hands were in my pockets. I wasn't scared or concerned but my pace was quick. While walking i met a cousin in a parked car, she had come to offer me a lift. I got in and we sat at a crossroads looking ahead before we proceeded. We did not speak while we waited.

Re: Walking through a village

Your are going through many emotions and they are about ready to open up. You feel squeezed in. You are not accustomed to these feelings. You feel cold emotions about something in your life and feel like you are unable to do anything about it. You are going about your business in your waking life as if there is no need for concern. Your feminine self {probably emotions} are trying to provide your relief {by letting your true emotions out?}. You are at a crossroads as what to do in this situation.

Does this fit any experiences in your life? It seems to fit with your first dream. Let me know.

Re: Walking through a village

You know reading your response to this dream i was thinking that this relates to my first dream and i then you confirmed my thoughts. It is interesting because the dream about the village came first. So it probably means that the emotions that i was supressing were ready to come to the surface as shown in the second dream. It does have to do with supressed anger over issues in my past concerning the male in my life, my father and ex-boyfriend specifically and what the feamle allowed, my mother.
Also i had been avoiding dealing with residual issues concerning the accidental death of my father 10yrs ago. i think i am being called to accept that it was his time to go and that his journey in this earth was over and it would have been more detrimental if he had prologed his stay.

i am suprised that in the other dream, you think i have been to reliant on the feminine because that is actually an aspect of my self that i am only now embracing. I think that dream may have been calling me to accept the child within the male that caused the patterns of behaviour he displayed and let him go. Hence the reason i went back into the house when they drove off. But you right in that it also needed me to look at my anger to the female.Does that make sense?

Re: Re: Walking through a village

Jane,
Your point is well taken in that the child is given back to the masculine. If the masculine incubates the undeveloped child into a mature and unified masculine/feminine quality, then there will a functioning balance within your pysche, and waking life.

Since in the dream you are blocking what 'she' is saying, indeed your anger may be toward the feminine {within you}. The feminine can be a negative quality if it is not listened to. Your dreams seem to be addressing the co-operation of both male and feminine qualities that are needed in bringing balance and harmony to your life.
