AllowMultiple Error Message

I am trying to send a single report to multiple email addressees. Names for the recipients must be produced dynamically by running SQL query.

1. On the email destination window I click "To" button and select "Database source".

2. Data Items window opens. Adding new data item...

3. Data Item window opens. Selecting data source; click Connect button. Query text box becomes enabled.

4. After typing in SQL statement, click Parse, message "Success", View results - multiple rows of recipient names from my database table. Everything looks OK. Click OK.

5.ERROR:
"The INSERT INTO statement contains the following unknown field name: 'AllowMultiple'. Make sure you have typed the name correctly, and try the operation again."

NOTE that my SQL doesn't have INSERT INTO in it. This comes from inside MARS itself.

NOW, this happens whether I check "Allow Multiple rows" checkbox or not on the Data Item window. Even more interesting, even if SQL statement returns only ONE row, I still get that error. (SQL can be as simple as "Select date()"

Re: AllowMultiple Error Message

A fix is now available for this issue. Here's what to do:

1. Close the Mars Editor
2. Switch off all MARS schedulers
3. Download http://www.christiansteven.com/_support/marsfix20050910.zip
4. Unzip the contents into Program Files\Christiansteven\Mars folder and overwrite when prompted
5. Restart the PC and start the Mars editor.

Test your query and all should be well.

Important Notes:
This fix should ONLY be used with MARS v2.5 Build 20050825. If you are using an earlier version, please upgrade to this first before applying the fix.
Do not apply the fix to any other version of MARS (older or newer).
