Error Number: 2046
When trying to preview a report I get the follwing Error : The command or action 'OutputTo' isn't available now. Any quick fix to this ? I tried most of the output formats: Adobe, Snapshot, Text - nothing works. I am using MARS 2.7 ; Access 2002 - devided into front end and back end. |

The version of Access you are using does not recognize the command that MARS is sending it. - Download and install the very latest build of MARS. - During the installation, when prompted, please ensure that you correctly select the version of Access that is installed on the MARS PC. - If you are using Access 2003 or above, please also ensure that Macro security is set to Low in Access.

Here my info from the "About" menu and Support file: Product Name: MARS Version: 2.7.2182.36616 Build: Build 20051221b/2K3 File Type: DAT Apparently MARS thinks that I have Access 2003 ? (is that what 2K3 means ?) I tried to change that setting to Access 2002 using MARS Change MS Office utility. After the change the MARS "About" box still says 2K3. Does it treat 2002 and 2003 the same ? Just to check wether vesrion change utility works I changed version to Access 2000 and the About box said "2K" |

Access XP and 2003 will both come up as 2k3, as long as you choose the correct version that you are using the problem should go away. |

Here is the latest: 1. I can output report to a file(s), but only in Adobe With Images format and TIFF format. I tried to output in Adobe w/o Images, Snapshot, richtext, Excel format and that results in the above "OoutputTo command not available" error message. 2. If I select "Preview Report", even Adobe w/ Images output results in same error. ANOTHER PIECE of info, related or not: All this is happening with a dynamic schedule with 1 parameter. |

PDF is the only ouput which is NOT native to Access to MARS does not use Access to do the export. Ergo your problem is something to do with your Access installation. - Re-install MS Office and ensure you select to install all options for MS Access - Then apply the latest MS Office service pack - Restart and test again If the problem continues, I would suggest you log a call with the MARS tech desk. |
