Jane Dorr

Dear Dore/Dorr family genealogists,

My husband's 3rd great grandmother was Jane Dorr, born 1810 in Me,

married

about 1835 to Ai Frost and mother of at least 4 children, born in

Frankfort,

Waldo, ME.

They left Frankfort before 1850 and homesteaded in Michigan, Illinois,

and

finally Nebraska, where Jane died in 1884.

Jane is probably related to William Dorr and his wife Sarah Barton.

Jane's

husband, Ai, witnessed a deed of land for William and Sarah.

William Dorr was born about 1798 and died 1872 in Winterport, Waldo,

ME.
