Where's the most romantic place you've ever been? |

I have been to several romantic cities with my husband. If I am allowed, I would like to offer my top three: Gatlinburg, TN, The Great Smoky Mountains. This is my favorite place in the world! I love the beauty of it. It's mountains hold some of the most romantic places. We have jumped rocks in it's rivers and streams, had picnics in several of the parks, admired the deer and black bears in Cades Cove, and had endearing, candlelit dinners in some of the finest eateries. We've even made love behind The Great Smoky Mountain National Park sign! Maui, Hawaii The slow-paced lifestyle of the Hawaiian people set the stage for romance. It is a place to kick back, relax, and let your cares melt away. We had time to reconnect and enjoy each other away from it all. Las Vegas, NV We both love the excitement of this city. It puts you in the mood for love and romance. For us, we enjoy running on the sidewalks early in the morning, enjoying the majesty and beauty of the hotels before many people are up and moving. You know, romance isn't always about sex. |

For hubby and I, it would be Hawaii. We stayed at the Big Island, Hilo. It's so beautiful there. |

We almost chose Hawaii for our honeymoon but I really had my heart set on St. Lucia since I had heard so much about it and I WASN'T DISAPPOINTED! St. Lucia was HEAVEN. Everyone there was in love and it was obvious! The other romantic spots for us were Las Vegas and Asheville, NC. Las Vegas was FUN. Asheville was quiet and unassuming. |

I'd have to say the city of Sydney- My hubby and I spent a beautiful weekend there a few years ago when seeing David Bowie in concert. We stayed in a a 5 star hotel, right opposite Sydney's glorious Hyde Park, with a fantastic skyline view! The night of the concert, we caught a taxi down to the Entertainment Centre which is situated near China Town and Darlig Harbour. If the concert wasn't a dream come true, the walk back to the hotel was just as wonderful! Stopping off in the park, we sat admiring the scenery, eating our fried rice and plum chicken, soaking up the buzz in the air..then back to the motel where we found a chilled bottle of Moet Chandon, and a side bowl of strawberries waiting for us! I haven't experienced anything quite like it since, but what a memory! Nice reliving that time.... |

The most romantic gettaway was Maui, Hawaii. My husband not knowing it would be his last trip decided to take me on a second honeymoon. We stayed in a condo, had a rental car went to so many places on our own. We thought it would have been more relaxing to go wherever we wanted at our own pace. We made our breakfasts and ate out in the evening and picked a new restaurant each evening. We sent to a pinapple winery, attended a huge luau, visited a small loving church in Lahaina, saw the historic monuments, stood under the largest banyon tree in the world, saw tropical fish in a glass bottom boat, tried to take a tour of the other islands but our plane had problems. Next to that would be an evening out when the orange blossoms are blooming on a hot late spring in Phoenix. The air and the humidity helped to make the atmosphere so relaxing. It was like having aromatherapy wherever we went.

Unfortunately, my husband and I have not taken very many romantic trips. We do plan to go to Gatlenburg this summer. That ought to be fun. |

I will say Savannah, GA it reminded me a lot of New Orleans before Hurrican Katrina. It has that historic flair, funky nightlife and fabulous food. My husband and I enjoyed our trip there. |

I've been to Savannah. It's a very quaint and charming place. I had a good time there. Another place I thoroughly enjoyed was Asheville, NC. |

I live in the San Francisco Bay Area and San Francisco usually ranks among the top rated destination cities and a favorite of tourists. We are also blessed to have several beautiful and romantic spots within easy driving distance. Some of my special sites are Carmel, the wine country, and Mendocino. But, probably, my husband's and my most favorite romantic place is being at home in front of a fire and just relaxing together. After all, home is where the heart is!!! |

My most romantic place was with my husband in New York City, right in the heart of Times Square, in a quaint little hotel and then going to see The Full Monty on Broadway. It was awesome!! |
