Sex at Middle Age
Do you think a middle-aged woman, who is divorced or widowed, should refrain from sex until she marries again? Why or why not? |

Like sex at any stage in life, it depends on the woman and the relationship. Intimacy is a beautiful thing when shared between people who are emotionally ready to go there, especially if the relationship is progressed to the level that both feel they want to spend the rest of their lives together. |

We all have our own moral code. Part of that code is the result of or life's teachings, and part is what we have come to believe through years of living. I believe that as long as a woman sticks to her own beliefs and is true to herself, she cannot go wrong. |

I suppose it's no longer realistic to expect a woman in her middle age years, especially one who has been married, to refrain from sexual activity should she find herself single again. That way of thinking just doesn't represent the world we've come to live in anymore. However, that is exactly what a woman who is professing to be a child of God is called to do. Is it easy? Uh...no. Is it impossible? No. As with everything else, there will be benefits and set backs to taking a godly position. One of the set backs will be finding someone who is willing to honor her in this way. Two benefits are that she will be in obedience to God and possibly a great beginning with a man who will understand and respect her wishes.

Hello Ladies and Divas... I have been single for quite a while...and not one, who follows the maddening crowd...I choose abstinence. Now, don't get me wrong it isn't easy. BUT...this week I did a post on Herpes and I do not think, that I will see it as hard again! For those of you who are interested...here is the link. Be warned, it is real and graphic. http://babyboomeradvisorclub.com/symptoms-of-herpes-and-natural-herpes-treatments/ This is a national health problem when 1 out of 5 people have Herpes! Love the blog, Bev...I don't see how you put all of what you do, in one day...I applaud you. Southern smiles and world peace, Sharon ~The Baby Boomer Queen babyboomeradvisorclub |

Well, being widowed for five years now..I'd love to be loved like that again. But there is no one on the horizon. I enjoyed sex with my husband at least once or twice a week. When he died I resigned to the fact that making love stopped for me. I don't go on dates. No one seems interested. I attend church but all the older men are married. I don't go out much so I don't have a chance to meet other men my age. I don't think sex was ever designed to stop at middle age. You can enjoy it til you die practically. Look at Abraham and Sarah from the Bible. She had a son in her eighties. There had to be a little sex for that to happen right? |
