Wow,
I haven't been on the site for a while but there are some tough issues that have been adressed and they scare me to death!! Being a new DON as well, I can definetly empathise with the other newbies. My question for the moment is pretty simple. What is an average PPD for those of you out there? We have recently taken on some very time consuming residnets and my staff are feeling frazeled and I don't blame them. I am working with a budget that I didn't set up and was developed for a group of residents with much lower acuity. My administrator and coorp are not interested in my concerns because I havent been around, but I have a great ADON who was a former DON that came out of retirement to work for us. I use her as a resourse and very much value her wisdome. But wanted to get some other numbers. Thanks for your help and I promise not to stay away for so long. |
