Does Admissions sign for section AA on the MDS if they do not fill in the MDS but initiate the Face Sheet with the demographics?

My understanding is that every person that completes ANY PORTION of the MDS is suppose to sign......I have never figured out if you have more then one person completing a Section if both need to sign. Mostly, I think the signature is to show the "responsible party" that completed/provided the information.

Facilities in my state get deficiancies quite frequently for "MDS Must Be Completed and Signed By Correct Professional".

if a person does not touch the MDS they do not sign the MDS if you get info off the face sheet you sign for that area
