We are planning to start racing in Febuary...opening date will be posted soon

The 2008 schedule is posted!!

The Summit Super Series will have 10 races for the 2008 season and they all will be held on Saturdays.

We will be running a street stock program on Friday nights along with Test n tune and Jackpot racing!!!!

We are also planning an 10.5 race in May or June

Bracket

Angleton really tried to accomodate the brackets yesterday, but mother nature did not cooperate and the track was closed. Now, the question? What do you do about the brackets from yesterday and those that were cancelled earlier. Those Summit races have to be made up to acquire the points. Solution is that the drivers get together and come up with a compromise before race day and figure how you want to make up the races. I believe that Ricky will entertain a Sunday to catch up or double up racing on a bracket night. Angleton will entertain any compromise that works and will benefit the drivers in making up the points. The season is steadily approaching the end, with that, its time to consider options in making up the points.

On a safety note, as an EMT, ALL drivers need to remember to make sure they have a light on from the back of the car. This is not only a safety precaution, but mandated by IHRA and NHRA.

Please take time to make sure the lights are on.

So any info on the track being back next year? If so I would like to start planning for next years team and going to the finals soon.
