Thanks for everyone hospitality.....
Today was a very long day for most of us at Angleton. Today was a hot one. I think it was 102 in the shade under the Hurta's canopy at one point. Just wanted to say thanks to a few people for their hospitality... Bobby and Suni for letting my wife and son suck up some AC for a while. And the girls for putting up with Lance.  And the Lance loved the Hotdog if you couldnt tell on how he scarfed it down after I asked him if he was hungry not 5 minutes before and he said no. Mike and Chris Hurta. For the use of the funnel and Fuel jug cap and sucking up the shade under their awning for a bit. James and his wife (not sure of name) for bringing the longer fueljub hose from home. Charles Skinner for waiting to me to fix a window problem in the staging lanes during second round of eliminations. It just goes to show what a great group of people that run at Angleton. Maybe next year I'll sign up for the points considering after next week I will have ran in 5 of the races See everyone in 2 weeks.Rex |

Rex, you and your family are very welcome, any time. We enjoyed the company also. It is always nice to have good people around, and to have a good time with everyone. :) We had a lot of fun out there racing Saturday and feel kinda lucky to have survived the heat, as it was a long hot day for sure.
