Congratulations to Angleton winners 7/26/08
I hope that I remember this right, but as Bobby Iven says, I am getting pretty old and my memory isn't too good. But as I remember from last night, after a long hot day: Footbrake: Eric Combs, winner; Billy Talbot, runner-up Electronics: Eddie League, winner; Ray Dew, runner-up. Sorry I missed the Jr. Dragster final, and was holed up in the shade of my trailer for the finals of the first race (plus that was early in the day and I can't remember that far back!). Good job to all the racers that endured the hot weather yesterday, and congratulations to all the winners.

big congrates to Eric combs for taking out jay in the 1/4 finals. Jay is one tough competitor.

After Eric took Jay out, there were only three of us in the semi's... Billy Talbot, Eric Combs, and me. It was the second race of the day. |

You are correct. I understand what you are saying and I think Bobby meant the 1/8's instead of the 1/4's. You know how us blondes are. ;) |

Yeah I know! As hot as Jays been I couldnt let that slide! Hey didnt beat him ( I got behind him every round, no luck! )but lasted one round longer!

Congrats to the winners and r/u's, I had alot of tough races this weekend . Eric combs handled me in the 3rd round of race #2. I had won 25 straight rounds until he beat me down. So "pay the man his money" (quote from the movie Rounders).LOL can't wait till next race Congrats Jay |
