The message below is a cut and paste from the website Terry listed above. - Chris "Sorry about the late update...there has been some computer issues! Cole had a pretty quite and relaxing day, the meds seem to be regulated in his body so he's not so anxious. The only complaints he has is that...he wants to go home (right now), he needs some water, and he wants to get out of bed. Pretty much everything he can't have right now. He did get to see and occupational therapist today who worked with him, got him out of bed to do some exercises, and said he did a very good job. After his knee surgery he should be up and out of bed in no time. Which by the way was cancelled for a few days because his WBC count was a little high. Cole also had a hearing test that concluded he has significant hearing loss (but some) hearing in his right ear, which can hopefully be helped by a hearing aid, and has no hearing in his left ear as of right now. To keep Cole occupied during the day we got him a PSP and my mom got him a few board games we are going to try out...hopefully we can keep his mind off of everything for at least a little while." |
