Great Job Angleton/Track and Crew!
Friday Aug 1st. Great job by the staff and crew of Angleton. Thanks for putting on a great race! We came out,brought 3 cars to run street stock. I ran in both street stock and Jackpot and had a great time! Made it to the semi's in Jackpot and won street stock. All the track personell and employess were kind, courteous and professional, from the girl at the gate, to the guy in tech... time ticket booth..the WHOLE CREW did a great job! *hats off to Angleton* |

It's great to see you back racing again!! Been way too long and for all the wrong reasons. Picking up where you left off at the "other" track, hey? Big time congrats in S/S!! How's Tiff and Corey? Thanks Wes! I just wanted to get back out and "get my feet wet"... needed to baseline the new car and just SEE if I could "win a round". Car went 9.85 in august which is better than I expected. ...cut an .017/.517 light in round 1 of SS, which also was much better than I expected. Probably wont be back out for awhile, as my feeble budget isn't up to the task of "raising a family AND racing". Tiff and Corey are doing well, Corey is growing like a WEED! he's HUGE! |

BTW, Tom, you originally had 30 points the last time I checked the angleton ss points page, if you won on the 5'th, that could put you in third place right? I don't think they have updated the points since the race on the fifth (but I could be wrong...) You might want to look into that. If you did get enough points to move into third, COOL!!! WTG!! wes |

I'm pretty sure you are correct Wes. I believe I scored 30 or 40 depending on how much round 1 was worth. That "should" have moved me into 3rd. Made 2 races, missed 8 and finished..3rd. Not a bad season, looking back. |
