Discussion forum
This is suppose to be a discussion forum but it never seems to get a discussion going so........ What, do you think makes a good festival? |

Yes Janet just what makes a good festival is it the artists that one books, or is it the dancers one gets to come along,the street entertainment, the workshops, we culd go on all day about it but we must not forget the band of volentears that work all year rond to see the festival get on the way in our case we have a verey good workig commite to wich I am exsreemley gratfull of so what do others think com on let's here you then Geoff Pickles

I feel that cosy venues and guests who are both competent and able to communicate are vital at festivals. It has always been an unwritten rule to balance between singer song writers, comedy, musicians and dance to provide something for everyone Possible need for childrens entertainment growing also Very important to cater also for people coming from other parts of Britain and outside of the UK Not eveything always works out as it should first time round Ray |

Thank you Ray for your comments. I will make sure that the Festival Committee know about them and we will try as always to provide the cosy atmosphere and friendly festival that we always have. Hope to see you at the Festival in July 2007. |
