the death of ernie ladd a few months ago brought back many memories i saw him wrestle in person many times i would be just a few feet away from him in front row at times. i remember his 1982 feud with gen.akbar and devastation inc. it began in late 1981 after skandor convinced the samoans afa and sika to fire ernie and hire the general as their manager ladd was furious he hit akbar, then was fighting the samoans and the one man gang made his debut by big splashing ernie's knees putting the big cat on the shelf for months.ladd feuded with akbar,the samoans,one man gang,killer khan,the assassin and more henchmen akbar threw at him. ernie was one of a kind very entertaining whether good or bad .rip big cat.did the gen speak about ernie's death??
