my local upn station is showing old mid south wrestling shows from the early 80's where the gen. akbar was managing iron sheik, then the samoans,then one man gang,killer khan,kamala ,the mongolian stomper. it showed where gen akbar was hit in the head by dick murdock with his trenching shovel.and iron mike sharpe piledrived the gen 2 weeks in a row.my little nephew use to laugh when junkyard dog ,hacksaw jim duggan or one of the general's enemies would hit him or attack him and gen akbar's turban would get knocked off he'd say "they knocked the sheet off his head it's laying in the ring the referee can tell akbar was in there" he was like 8 or 9 at the time but seeing the old mid south tapes bring back a lot of memories.
