you sound like me. I had the rash 3 years ago it cleared up with dapsone and now is back worse than ever. It is on my legs, thighs, back, chest and now my face and the itch is unbearable. Did you have a biopsy done? If you are in the Tampa area there is a great dermatologist that is familiar with DH otherwise finding a specialist in DH is not easy.

Recently a rash that I had 2 years ago came back. When I first got it I went to 2 dermatologists 4/5 times and they never figured out what I had. All the medications they gave me didn't work, and eventually it went away. It went away, but has come back. I am currently taking the medication they gave me last time (the stuff I was taking when it went away), but it doesn't seem to help no matter how much I refrain from itching, it keeps spreading. It's on both of my forearms, both of my legs around my ankle, and now it's starting around my thigh. I think it might be DH but I'm not sure. It's blistery but they're not big blisters, it itches like crazy especially at night (it wakes me up several times a night), and it's sort of "wet" looking. I've been taking anti-histamines thinking it might be an alergy, using cream, and lots of sarna. Someone make it go away! Is there any directory for specialists who know more about these skin conditions, other than my normal derm?
