Following on from some research back in Jan/Feb this year, and with some added help from Sarah Melton, I was able to find out about my late grandfather, Sidney George Tonkin, who I did not know ( My late father was adopted). I now have made contact with a lot of relatives in the USA & Canada. I am now after more help as I am trying to find out about my Grandmother who lived in Pengelly with Sidney until he fled to the USA, leaving Dora Tonkin (Nee Martin) we assume to fend alone around 1924. We know she was born in St Blazey, I have a letter I wish to have printed in a newspaper that covers that area of Cornwall but cannot find one, can anybody help please.
