This might be something to break up our month off of racing. I emailed Al Bailey and this is what he had to say about it: Barry, thanks for inquiring about the August 18 & 19 race weekend. Entry fee for juniors is $25.00 per day. Since this is a feature car race an adult entry fee is I do believe is $20.00 per day. We at the Calgary Drag Racing Association have worked with the track and if you are a CDRA member the $25.00 entry fee includes one crew member at no extra cost. We run a points race on Saturday and Sunday for our association and all racers are able to participate. Points are counted if you are a CDRA member towards our Championship at the end of the year. Saturday is also a Super Six Series Event where you can win money if you are a CDRA member. You do not have to be a member to compete in this series. Sunday is also a points race for us but we might have to change a few things, as with this race we are going to have two age groups. 8 to 12 and 13 to 17, and they will race within their group and the two winners will compete for the Elrich Tire Championship Cup. Prize money for each group is $250.00 win, $100.00 runner up and $75.00 for semi loser. Winner of the Elrich Tire Cup will also win a set of Drag slicks and a Champioship jacket.
