Was there in 1966 this is Luna (SK-3) Supply Dept. I recall many of time, we were not aloud out side. My eyes were always burning and watery. I have throat issue and I was told I have scar tissue in my lungs.
I was onboard for the 1967-68 cruise and remember pulling into Da Nang Harbor to dock at the pier for something but the VA shiplist doesn't say anything about it.
Does anyone remember the date we pulled in there, or if there's any official history page that says we did?
we anchored on Nov. 3 1967. Go to the Blue Water Navy Viet Nam Veterans Assoc. they have a lot of info for agent orange. Somewhere on their web site there is a way to find ship deck logs I was on that site once and saw the ships log saying when we anchored. https://research.archives.gov/id/7367843 this web site has the ships log.
