Anyone who has read the Old Testament will know there is but one theme in the Old Testament, that is, if a nation keeps the laws/commandments/ordinances/statutes of GOD, that nation will prosper; and if that nation breaks the laws/commandments/ordinances/statutes of GOD, that nation will suffer (famine, pestilence, disasters, invasion, ...), or even perish from off the face of Earth.

GOD gave this message very clearly and explicitly in [Leviticus 26].

The history of Israel bears proof of this.

In the times of Judges, they prospered whenever they walked in GOD's laws. But when they walked not in GOD's Laws, they were invaded or even enslaved.

In the time of Jeremiah, Israel ceased to be nation, because GOD destroyed it through the hand of Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon. It was because the Israelites broke his laws/commandments, and would not repent.

A child will find acceptance before the father if he/she is obedient to the father. If he/she understands that the father teaches him/her for his/her own good.

Do you know how you could find acceptance before the Creator, your Heavenly Father ?

A Christian will find acceptance before GOD if he/she is obedient to the teachings of GOD, that is the keeping of GOD's Commandments and Laws, ...

How can a Christian find acceptance before GOD, when he/she learns not, nor walks not, GOD's teachings ?

Even Jesus walked in the Ten Commandments, and told a young man that if he wanted to have eternal life, he should keep the commandments, including the Ten Commandments. (see [Mt 19:16-19]).

A Christian who makes little of GOD's Laws/commandments dishonours GOD, dishonors his/her Creator.

LOVE GOD = WALK RESOLUTELY IN THE TEACHINGS OF GOD.

LOVE JESUS = WALK RESOLUTELY IN THE TEACHINGS OF JESUS.

Meditate upon the teachings of GOD, and of Jesus, day and night, when we are sitting in the house, and when we are walking by the way. (see [Joshua 1], [Deut 11:18-25].

Do not be a lazy Christian; a lazy Christian will most likely be rejected by Jesus in the Judgement Day. Learn diligently the teachings of GOD and of Jesus, read over the Bible again and again, and meditate upon their teachings, and WALK their teachings day in and day out. Pray to GOD every day, and cleave to GOD as a waistcloth cleaves to the loin of a man [Jeremiah 13].

Be a good child before your Heavenly Father, who creates everyone of us.
