LORD's political system Vs. Roman's system

Our present day political system is inherited from the Romans. LORD's political system is described in Judges, Old Testament. The present day system cannot dispense justice promptly, and suffers many shortcomings. I hope we will discuss various aspects of LORD's system (Vs. Roman's system) and the feasibility of its implementation. But any topics of interests to Christians are also welcome.

Title 'A Celestial Revelation’
(Uncovering the mystery of ancient Christian Prophecy)

(ISBN) 1-904018-76-9

Pen Press Publishing Ltd

Author Andrew G Frew

This is an informed and informative work that examines the Book of Revelation and the apocalyptic writings of Daniel, and considers their spiritual messages within a modern-day context, particularly (and topically) with regard to the future of the state of Israel and the art of ancient astrology. The author is clearly quite erudite. Alongside his in-depth knowledge of his chosen Biblical texts, he reaches further afield to draw allegorical comparisons between the Book of Revelation and historical events such as the French revolution, as well as Greek and Roman mythology.

Comments so far.

Remember when you were a kid and your bedtime came too early - too early to finish the great book you were reading? Those were the nights to pull out a flashlight and read under the covers. Now that I set my own bedtime, I still find myself sometimes staying up later than I should, reading an engaging book. No matter how sleepy I am the next morning, it's almost always worth it.

Such a book is 'A Celestial Revelation’ by Andrew G Frew - a first time author by the way! I could not put it down; it was such an enthralling read, from the first page to the last! Don?t be put off by the title and the contents, I almost was, but I am pleased I wasn?t. ?

The book is actually a narrative on the Book of Revelation, the last book in the New Testament, and relates each chapter to astrological symbolism. For anyone who's read Revelation, it is probably the oddest book in the New Testament - most of the NT is written on a seemingly literal level as a straightforward narrative; Revelation is clearly in a different mould altogether, with lots of bizarre imagery and is obviously allegorical. Whatever your views of astrology may be, an astrological worldview was clearly part of the mindset of 2,000 years ago, so I think it's very plausible that the allegory would include astrological references (as does much of the bible).

The author has brought these connections out in a very clear and readable fashion - many biblical narratives are very scholarly, but incredibly "dry" to read - "A Celestial Revelation" is not like that at all; it's a gripping read."

"have, over the years, read many interpretations of the Book of Revelation in the New Testament. This book by Andrew G. Frew gives a whole new insight into the meaning of the bible words. It is very clearly laid out, well written, and I found it quite fascinating. The author obviously has considerable knowledge of many things. Religion, History and Astrology are combined in a smooth flowing and admirable way. At the end of Mr. Frew's book, I simply wanted to read "more" by him. This book is a 'must' for all scholars of the bible, and especially those interested in the astrological influences observed by man since the beginning of time.”

DO NOT LEARN "ASTROLOGY", IT IS DANGEROUS

Hi Andrew,

If you read the books of Enoch, you would know that "astrology" was taught to mankind by fallen angels, [1 Enoch 8],

[START QUOTE]

And Azazel taught men to make swords, and knives, and shields, and breastplates, and made known to them the metals of the earth and the art of working them, and bracelets, and ornaments, and the use of antimony, and the beautifying of the eyelids, and all kinds of costly stones, and all colouring tinctures. And there arose much godlessness, and they committed fornication, and they were led astray, and became corrupt in all their ways. Semjaza taught enchantments, and root-cuttings, 'Armaros the resolving of enchantments, Baraqijal (taught) astrology, Kokabel the constellations, Ezeqeel the knowledge of the clouds, Araqiel the signs of the earth, Shamsiel the signs of the sun, and Sariel the course of the moon. And as men perished, they cried, and their cry went up to heaven . . . [1 Enoch 8]

[END QUOTE]

From it, we know that "astrology" is secret knowledge of angels, but unfortunately, of angels that had fallen. Many black magic work too. The fact that "astrology" works should not be the reason that we study it; just as we should not learn secret lawless techniques of wicked people, though those lawless techniques work.

LORD : "Do not turn to mediums or wizards; do not seek them out, to be defiled by them: I am the LORD your God." [Lev 19:31]

Moses to Israelites : "When you come into the land which the LORD your God gives you, you shall not learn to follow the abominable practices of those nations. There shall not be found among you any one who burns his son or his daughter as an offering, any one who practices divination, a soothsayer, or an augur, or a sorcerer, or a charmer, or a medium, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For whoever does these things is an abomination to the LORD; and because of these abominable practices the LORD your God is driving them out before you. You shall be blameless before the LORD your God. For these nations, which you are about to dispossess, give heed to soothsayers and to diviners; but as for you, the LORD your God has not allowed you so to do." [Deut 18:9-14]

All godly books -- Bible, books of Enoch, Book of Mormon -- NEVER MENTION astrology, never teach us astrology.

As about Revelation, the Bible, Books of Enoch, Book of Mormon give us plenty.

Therefore, when you post the first post about "revelation from astrology", I deleted your post.

Knowledge, revelation, that come from "astrology" is extremely dangerous, and I think one should never touch "astrology".

As GOD taught us in [Lev 19:31], we WOULD BE DEFILED by such knowledge; and once defiled, we could hardly make ourself clean again. We should keep our heart "pure as a child", and never touch those frightening, dark things. Therefore pray to GOD to help you get out of "astrology".

It is my sincere hope that you walk along the road our lord Jesus, and all godly brothers walked, and not bypaths [Jer 18:15].
