LORD's political system Vs. Roman's system
Our present day political system is inherited from the Romans. LORD's political system is described in Judges, Old Testament. The present day system cannot dispense justice promptly, and suffers many shortcomings. I hope we will discuss various aspects of LORD's system (Vs. Roman's system) and the feasibility of its implementation. But any topics of interests to Christians are also welcome.
SARS and the work of GOD

Chinese of old, when they met disasters, such as earthquake, invasion by foreign armies, ...., they would regard as warning and punishment from GOD, and therefore, would review and amend their conduct.
Communist Party of China denies GOD, and they teach the whole China that GOD does not exist. They think their own hands can overcome all things. They throw away the culture of our ancestors -- the most valuable teachings of Confucius, and put in Marx and Lenin's teachings instead.
Hong Kong Government does no better. The recent move by the Government to legalize football gambling, against the wish of all religions of Hong Kong, clearly shows their disdain of GOD, of morals; and the proudness of their hearts that their own hands can overcome and accomplish everything.
Prostitution is widespread in China, under tacit tolerance from the Government. Hong Kong people like gambling, worshipping idols, augury/astrology, adultery, pursue after good food, ....
The coming of SARS (Severe Acute Respiratory Symptom) should be taken as a warning and punishment from GOD.
It is a time for people in China, in Hong Kong, in Taiwan, to review their conduct, to walk in the Laws and Commandments of GOD
This SARS may get better, may get worse. Should it get better, then it must be the mercy of GOD to give us some respite. Then take this opportunity and the time available to return fully to GOD. The worse is that people would forget this thing, and return to their old godless ways as before, then SARS, and even worse disasters, will return.
The punishment of GOD will never come without warning. Also the punishment of GOD will not come in one single deadly blow. It will come in small steps.
First comes some small disaster. If the people still persist in their godless ways, totally disregard the Laws and Commandments of GOD, then more disasters will come, increasing in severity.
If the people still disregard GOD, then more and more will come.
If the people still do not repent at that stage, when all these disasters come, then GOD has no option but destroy the people.
