LORD's political system Vs. Roman's system

Our present day political system is inherited from the Romans. LORD's political system is described in Judges, Old Testament. The present day system cannot dispense justice promptly, and suffers many shortcomings. I hope we will discuss various aspects of LORD's system (Vs. Roman's system) and the feasibility of its implementation. But any topics of interests to Christians are also welcome.

To all Christians who grieve for the loss of Dr. Tze, our beloved sister.









Dear brother/sister,








The heroic act of Dr. Tze moved the heart of many of us, who are her brothers and sisters.






We all know that she and her husband will resurrect on the day of Jesus' return (they are but "sleeping" today), and will live in the New Heaven and New Earth forever with all who love and keep Jesus' words to the end (and endure to the end).






However, many Christians today have lost their way; because many churches would not teach the laws and commandments of GOD, saying, we are no longer under law after Jesus! So laws and commandments are done with! (The true meaning should be our change of heart, from the "software" of Adam, to the "software" of Jesus, is totally a free "software" from GOD; and if we have the heart of Jesus, and walk his teachings, the snare of laws is no longer on us, and we can fulfill the laws just as Jesus had been able to.) Therefore there are homosexual Christians, adultery Christians, and Christians who associated themselves with astrology/augury, Christians who pursue after fleshy passions such as sex and good food rather than righteousness of GOD ...






Jesus plainly told a person who asked about eternal life that he should keep the Ten Commandments [Mt 19:16-19].






In [Mt 5:17-20], Jesus taught us that those who keep the commandments and teach others so would be great in heaven. Unfortunately today, we find Christians who know not the Ten Commandments nor other commandments of GOD.






The Old Testament, as history of Israel, clearly point out one single fact,








KEEP THE LAWS/COMMANDMENTS => BLESSING;


BREAK THE LAWS/COMMANDMENTS => CURSE







The Israelites were destroyed by Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon, because they broke the laws/commandments of GOD and would not repent.






There is another history book I would recommend to you -- the history book of Mayans of America.






The Mayans had a short existence, about 1000 years (600 B.C. to 420 A.D.) They were destroyed as a nation, by the American Indians, also for the same reason -- they broke the laws/commandments of GOD and would not repent. (The recent SARS in Hong Kong is a warning from GOD.)






But descendants of Mayans are found everywhere -- in South America, in Alaska, in Canada. Even the Hawaiians, the Maoris of New Zealand, the aborigines of Australia, the mountain people in Taiwan, ... are all descendants of Mayans.






Mayans and Native Americans are (mostly) descendants of Joseph (<- Jocob <- Issac <- Abraham). The first father of Mayans, Lehi, came from the tribe of Joseph; and he was a godly, righteous man, firm in keeping the commandments of GOD, that LORD GOD saved him and his family by telling him to flee from Jerusalem a few years before King Nebuchadnezzar destroyed it, and told him to make a ship and sail to America (that was in the year about 600 B.C.)






It is my sincere wish that you read their history, which is Book of Mormon,

Read the above first (there are many small books in the Book of Mormon as in the Bible, written by many authors over the span of about 1000 years), and if you are convinced that it is true history, then download the whole book from Gutenberg Project.






If you love Jesus our Lord, love our brothers Matthew, Peter, James, John, Luke, Peter, .... you will love those persons in the Book of Mormon.






Do not be hindered by the failure of the Mormon Church; just as one should not reject the Bible because of the failures of some Christians/Christian churches; nor should one reject the Analect of Confucius just because of the failures of some Confucius Organization.






If you have read the Bible at least once, and love it; the above Book of Mormon is for you; and I can assure you that you can improve a lot spiritually after reading that. (But not join the Mormon Church, you join it at your own risk.)






Peace be to all brothers and sisters who love our lord Jesus and our heavenly Father by keeping their teachings.

A sister is worried lest I go into wrong track because of Book of Mormon





Dear XXXX,



I had the same opinion as you for many years -- because everyone in the church, especially the pastors, were against the Mormons.



Also, I did not believe that Israelites could have moved to America before Columbus.



On a "google" search for "kindness, mercy", I happened to find the Book of Mormon. To be cautious, I read a few lines, then I read the First Book (there are many books in BOM as in the Bible), because I didn't want to be tricked into reading some false doctrines.



After reading the first book inside BOM, I thought there must be some truth in it, then I got a copy and read it.



Also I did searches in the Internet for Maya relics, also watched TV documentaries on Maya (from BBC, National Geographics) and compared the description in the book. It agrees terribly well. Therefore I have, today, no doubt that it is true history of Mayans for the period 600 B.C - 420 A.D.



I have also read many books about Mormonism, and am grieved because of the numerous devilish practices introduced by false prophets who infiltrated and got control of the Mormon Church, therefore I wrote in my email "Do not join the Mormon Church, you join it at your own risk."



Because BOM is true history of Mayans, and from there, I know the origin of America Indians, the Hawaiians, the Polynesians, the Maroris of New Zealand, the aborigines of Australia, ... and also, I know the history of Mayans. This gives me immense pleasure.



I have been a Christian since 1966, and have read the Bible numerous times (so many times that I could not remember). I read all other books with caution -- does that book introduce any devilish precepts in contrary to the teachings of GOD and of Jesus in the Bible ? -- in short, I use the Bible as a plummet to measure against all books I read.



I FOUND NO DEVILISH PRECEPTS IN BOM, ALTHOUGH THE MORMON CHURCH HAD INTRODUCED MANY DEVILISH PRECEPTS.



Why not spend an hour or so on the first book of BOM,

P.S. BOM is not for one who have not read the Bible at least once, cover to cover, because, it started from the period of King Zedekiah, just a few years before King Nebuchadnezzar destroyed Jerusalem; therefore one must be thoroughly familiar with the Old Testament, especially the Book of Jeremiah and the Book of Kings (I, II), Chronicles (I, II) in order to appreciate it.
