My dad, T/Sgt. Herbert J. Wurtz (radioman/gunner)was assigned to 439th BS, 319th BG and flew missions from Dec 43 to Nov 44. I have his mission list and awards but that is about all. Any info concerning the planes he flew on or crew members would be appreciated.
