Staff Sgt. Thomas E. Jordan, Jr. 319th Bomb Group, 437th Squadron
Hello-
My name is Jennifer Bell. I read your post on the 319th bomb group's website. My Grandfather, Thomas E. Jordan, jr., was in the 319th Bomb Group, 427th Squadron. I have numerous photos and negatives from the time he spent in Corsica and Sardinia during WWII.
His ship was the Shooting (Shootin') Starr. Starr was the pilot's last name.
I have photos of it, but need to scan them so that I can share them with the group.
I am wondering if you might know any of the men (or the relatives of them) who were in his group/squadron.
I have numerous letters which his war buddies wrote to him after the war and would love to locate some of their relatives so I can share the letters & photos with them.
