I ran into an interesting book a few days ago. It's a book about military slang. I expected it to be a simple list of terms and definitions. Instead, it contained hundreds of photographs associated with the terms. The author claims that many have never been seen before. I certainly hadn't.
The books is a quick and fun read. It brought back memories of terms I used when I was in, and made me laugh and wince at some of their meanings.
