Dream about an octopoid sea monster

Dream consisted of A house on a rocky cliff on fire with dead best friend, her dead mother, and father (who is still alive). An octopus monster climbed out of the sea up the cliff. The dream ended. This occurred 2 months after my friend's death.

Re: Dream about an octopoid sea monster

Jackie,
Mostly likely the house is you and the rocky cliff some aspect of your life. Perhaps you feel endangered because two friends have died. Both were females which may be an indication of your own vulnerabilities. T
he survivor was the father, a masculine aspect that would be less threaten by death of others {men are less emotional}. Better yet, there may be too many stressful events {octopus} occurring in your life that threaten to over come you {death}. Unconsciously {sea} you may feel you are about to fall off the 'cliff'.
Look at your waking life and determine where this may fit {stressful aspects}. Don't be concerned about the deaths of friends in your dream. They are purely symbolic of your own emotional life.

Re: Dream about an octopoid sea monster

Octopus are usually symbolic of something clingy. The house on fire at a precipice is a part of you ready ready to die. A part of you doesn't want this and is seeking to take it into your sub.
YOu may be having trouble getting over a recent loss.
