Also, in our twenties we begin to develop the ability to evaluate borne of the underlying need for clear and distinct understanding. Perhaps you now wish to truly know your mother, as a separate and distinct person, rather than through the mother/daughter relationship. Who she is, what she wants in life, her history, etc, etc,
