three friends and myself have all dreamt that i've gotten a new boyfriend in the past few nights. whats weirder is that 2 of these friends dreamt his name was sam! is this prophetic or just a weird coincidence!?

I wouldn't say it is prophetic but the coincidence is unusual. And the fact that your friends dreamed of you getting a new boyfriend probably has other possibilities to each of them. Have you discussed your desire or interest in having a new bo? The name sam could have other meanings also or could be shortened for some other word {same}.

When you dream the dream is about your life, first and foremost. Your friend's dreams would primarily focus on their own personal lives. There is a thing called synchronicity {a Jungian term}. Synchronicities are people, places or events that your soul attracts into your life - for one reason or another. But that is more prevalent in waking life experiences more so than in dreams. If in fact you have given much thought to a new guy in your life and have discussed with friends, that alone could stimulate your friends dreams. The word sam could be a real name but with no real intent. Talk to your friends and see what else was in their dreams.

As for a new bo named sam. If it does happen let me know.
