My son as a youngster

I haven't had a dream for awhile now or maybe just
have not remembered any but the other night left
me puzzled.
My son is now 31 but he was around 6 years old in
the dream. He was outside in the front of the
house talking to this young lad whom I did not
know. The boy had this sharp silver pointed object
in his hand and was swinging it around and came
into contact with my son's finger cutting the finger
next to his thumb very badly. I was in the house
and heard a scream and ran out and grabbed my son
and took him into the house and got a ton of
paper towels and applied pressure to see if the
bleeding would stop.
The young boy had run away when this happened...
I noticed that the bleeding would not stop so
took him to the hospital for stitches....
then I woke up from the dream...what could all
this mean?????

Re: My son as a youngster

Connie,
I believe we need to focus on the young lad you did not know as well as the relationship to him to your son and you. It is likely the lad is an unknown aspect, perhaps some unknown aspect about your son. The finger that was cut is the finger we use to point with. In the dream the action with your son occurred outside the house {the house would likely be you, or the relationship between you and your son}. You bring him 'inside' to try to alleviate the injury and pain.

Since your son was six years old in the dream you may want to look back that period in time and determine if there were any injuries to your son that may have a relationship to the dream. The pressure you felt in the dream {trying to stop the bleeding} may be a clue. What pressures, if any, where there then {at age 6} that remain between you and your son? Because you did have to take him to a hospital, that may indicate unresolved issues between you and he, or unresolved issues you felt at that time involving him {he being the injured party by another person}.

Re: My son as a youngster

Hello Jerry and thank you for the interpretation. I
have no issues at all that I can think of regarding
any of my children. I did not answer this quickly because I saw your note stating that you were
giving up this work here because you are busy now
working at other places. Miss you....Connie

Re: My son as a youngster

Connie,
Not giving up my dream work. I took a few weeks off to focus on my business. I am back fulltime.

You state there were no issues regarding your children. But what about when he was six, were there issues in your life?
