Because of spamming by an entity located in China and the inability of Bravenet services to protect against these attacks I have had to institute security measures by requiring letter imaging. This imaging is a big inconvenience to all visitors {posts have fallen off since these requirements} since it is required with every action {Preview Message as an example}. I apologize for the inconvenience. If I do not get relief from Bravenet I will look at other services providers. This forum has been an important part of my website and before the spamming, and image security measures, it was reliable place to post dreams and receive interpretations. The Myths-Dreams-Symbols Dream Forum is consistently ranked in the top 10 Google listings under Dream Forums and I will do whatever needs to be done to keep this ranking. This ranking compliments my overall high web ranking of Myths-Dreams-Symbols website in a great many catagories ranked 5th under Dream Psychology and ranked ranked 1st and 2nd under Dream Psyche. Please be patient and continue to post your dreams for a free interpretation.

Hi Gerri, appropriate that the spammer is from China. I remember laughing at some of jung's comments about the chinese philosophy as compared to ours. he said something like they have a completely opposite valuation of things, that the femanine element is the dragon flying in the sky, and the male element is earthly. seems fitting that if someone must interfere with the website, that at least it's coming from the feminine georgaphy, or what until the last few decades was the feminine. How about that Occupy Wallstreet movement? I see about 60k people were in New York City. Pretty impressive, Jung was always demeaning mass movements, and considered socialism and the state the same thing. But I read, I think in Flying Saucers, that he was careful to temper his antipathy for the state, by saying even corporations are beurocracies that reduce the importance of the individual.

Oh, Gerri I just had an idea, couldn't you just require approval for a post before allowing it on the site, in order to prevent spamming? The spamming is inconvenient, sad that someone would fool with a decent site.

Unfortunately that isn't possible with Bravenet my Forum server. I have used Bravenet for many years haven't had any real problems with their service but they have limited security measurers. They may not realize how popular the Dream Forum is and being a part of the Myths-Dreams-Symbols website provides a high position on Google which in turns helps their ranking. I plan to work to promote the website even more in the coming weeks. I may start a a web ring for Jungian websites. I have about 20 professionals and organizations following my Twitter page and those type links are invaluable {Google ranking is largely based on the number of other websites that have linked to my website}. I may have to find another server that has better security measures in place. I want to protect my high ranking, something I have worked with for too many years to have a spammer affect because of inferior security measures. Thanks for the suggestions.
