Read the following. Posted Dreams follows.

Dreams are a succession of images, actions and sensations that occur involuntarily in the mind primarily during the REM stage of sleep. Dreams are unbiased, spontaneous products of the unconscious, outside the control of conscious will. The act of dreaming is physical but the contents of dreams is psychological. They are NATURAL expressions of the dreamer's emotional/personal life illustrating experiences that possess strong emotional energies. Although there are literal applications in dreams the primarily language is symbolic, metaphorical of the dreamer's emotional energies.
  • 1. Dreams are about the emotions, emotional energies of the person who is dreaming. They offer advice and a deeper understanding of our waking life as well as the foundations for the emotional energies of the dreamer.

  • 2. The language of dreams is symbolic, but also with literal applications {literal waking experinces}. The symbolic images and actions are metaphors for the patterns or motifs for the dreamer's emotional/psychological/physical life. Every character in a dream is a different aspect of an unacknowledged aspect of the dreamer and/or a prevalent situation in the person's life involving actual persons/experiences {dreams will address both aspects}.

  • 3. The purpose and function of dreams is to guide the conscious self to achieve wholeness and offer a solution to the problems in waking life. Solutions to problems and conflicts from everyday life, as well as the deeper underlying issues, 'emotional injuries' that stem from the foundations of the dreamer {early life experiences and trama experiences in life}.
---Dreams reveal vital information that expose the authentic emotions and feelings that are often concealed from the conscious mind.
---Dreams compensate for conscious attitudes and personality traits that are out of balance.

  • 4. Dreams are intentional. Nature provides us with dreams to understand and help heal emotional conflicts/issues. Just as the body has the immune system to heal and protect, the psych{ology} has the dream.

  • 5. Dreams possess 'Archteypal' representations. Archetypes are universal, original patterns and images that derive from the collective unconscious and are the psychic counterpart of instinct. An archetype is an inherited tendency of the human mind to form representations of mythological motifs-representations of the symbolic images/actions without losing their basic emotional pattern. Dreams and mythology share the same archetypal images, myths as illustrations of the universal patterns and dreams as illustrations of personal patterns.

  • 6. All dreams have at least two meanings or applications. One is the symbolic representation metaphorical of the emotional energies and the second being a literal application where a person, place or experience is addressing a real life experience. Leading a donkey to water

I was staying on a farm and I went to some cages where there were donkeys locked up individually, and I got one out of its cage and lead it by its collar to water. It was a hole in the ground about the size of a bucket, filled with water, and the donkey took a sip and neighed as if it were scared or shocked, and then it drank a few times and was fine. Then I noticed a sign above the watering hole that said "only horses and fowl may drink from this water. If a donkey drinks from the water, immediately empty the contaminated water and notify farm". Next to the text was a tally of how many times the water had been contaminated and when, and it had been about a few years (or maybe a decade?) since someone contaminated the water. So I started splashing water out and then went and told someone.

Re: Leading a donkey to water

I am getting vibes as to possible patterns within your dream but I am having trouble putting a hand on what exactly they may be. Just finished my regular physical workout and the juices are still attuned to the physical body and not the sensory mind. I will give the dream my attention in the morning when I tend to have I have a better ability to sense what emotional issues may be involved. The symbols tend to convey a message when the mind is fresh and there is not the distractions of the physical body.

Something you may want to focus on from the dream, and examine in your waking life, are experiences that may fit with a pattern of repetitive behavior or experience. Something has been contaminated more than once in your emotional life and it was several years, perhaps a decade ago since it last happened {such language of time in a dream is one instance where there are literal references of real time instead of a possible symbolic measurement of time}. Something is trying to come out from your unconscious to inform your conscious self of this repetitive issue {splashing water and telling someone}. In that light you may want to also explore issues of personality where stubbornness or unyielding attitude is a possibility {donkey}.

Re: Leading a donkey to water

Here is my take on the dream. as is the norm the dream is dealing with an emotional conflict or conflicts that were cause by earlier experiences in life.

You are working to confront/resolve those individual emotional conflicts that placed a heavy load on you. There may be a resistance in confronting these issues due to the shock they can cause when you think about the experiences. These emotional stresses been restrained in your unconscious but are being exposed more and more. As individual experiences come out there is an acknowledgment by your psyche that knows you must confront the past experiences so a healing can take place. You need strength to acknowledge the turmoil they will cause when you confront them consciously. When the emotional conflicts are acknowledged there is an exposure that threatens your waking conscious life. Something from your past, years ago {decade} has contaminated your psyche. You must let these emotions out so you can consciously deal with them.

What happened a decade ago that may have cause an emotional trauma? It has been stored in your unconscious but now is slowly revealing itself. It is probably something that causes a shock to your psyche when you now think about them and remember the experiences. Something may have triggered the unconscious to bring them back to consciousness.
