Re: recurring dream

Harley,
Two possibilities/probabilities to the dream. It could very well be addressing both issues as dreams normally do. One would have to do with your mother;s passing and the other to do with childhood issues associated with your previous posted dream Animal Dream.

The street is your path and direction in life, and possibly where you are located now. The air is the emotional atmosphere mood/feelings. Your whole being was affected by an experience which still resonates today. The inside is your unconscious and the silence is either/and how the ego wishes to address this experience {not listen to it because it is emotionally traumatic} or, in the case of your mother's passing not having her voice/sounds around you. The house is you and the door is an opening or barrier to something within you. What is behind the door are you emotions, those you have placed into your unconscious. Staying on the door step is ready to enter to recognize these emotions, but perhaps reluctant to do so. Shaking is a symbol of fear, a fear to open the door to your emotions/emotional path.

Because this is a recurring dream is suggests these are important issues that need attention. If it has to do with your mother's passing it may be a need to address that emotional issue. Perhaps a need to give time to grieve, or inspect the relationship you had with your mother and put that into proper perspective. That could involve childhood issues which would alone be something you need to 'bring out' {childhood issues} so you can reconcile those emotions {and to heal them}.

AS for your mother's dream. The house would be her and your not wanting to come in may be her fear of realizing you did not want to come into her world because of something emotional.

About having these dreams again. As long as the emotional issues remain unresolved it is 'Most' likely you will to continue to have dreams about these same issues.

Re: recurring dream

i have spent some time going through this, and i think i understand more now, i think this will recur all my life, but maybe in time, as i have done with other dreams i can control what happens and bring the dream to an end, as with all my dreams the feelings always resonate for days or weeks afterwards, making life difficult, in the meantime i will try to deal with a few issues because most of all i need some peace and movement before i crash.
as always thankyou, may many blessings find you
