Interesting that they are talking about the extreemly cold weather and the polar vortex. A couple nights ago I dreampt of an explanation of where the winds come from. First I saw the air moving from west to east like it always does across the U.S. Then the picture rotated to a polar view showing how all winds originate from a vortex around the north pole. There was no conscious question of coldness and I'm not an amature meteorologist. Just an explanation of where winds come from.

If you apply the winds as personal life force or energies you may find a connection. Not to say there are other explanations but dreams are about emotional energies and the winds would be, in one application, 'inner' forces. A vortex is a whirling mass, north is realty and the north pole may point to an end to an exploration or journey. Compare these possibilities to your waking life and see where they may fit.
